Larsh’s passion was telling a story through his camera and his words as he saw it. Larsh had a unique way of looking at the world and its inhabitants. During his time in Wyoming, Larsh earned a journalism degree from the University of Wyoming and was tutored by a UW photography professor, Robert Combs Warner. Upon completion of his degree, Larsh began a career first as a freelance photographer in Sheridan, WY and then as an editorial photographer for the Sheridan Press. His career continued in the newspaper industry as the Advertising Director at the Jackson Hole News in Jackson, WY and then on to the Las Vegas Review Journal as an Account Executive. All these roles allowed him to combine two of his talents: photography and copywriting.
As we have gone through Larsh’s work, we have found several projects in which he combined his passions of photography and storytelling. Sometimes the photos are accompanied by Larsh’s words, a collegue’s words, or in many cases the photos are left to tell their own stories. This section of his web site is dedicated to sharing and preserving these Special Projects.
